Along with swinging, funky, horn-based bands Galactic, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, and New Breed Brass Band, Trombone Shorty’s Orleans Avenue hosted a long night of soulful funk and high-energy jazz last Friday, entertaining a near sellout crowd at Red Rocks. The wild show was the second visit for Shorty (also known as Troy Andrews) and his crew, and they showed our world famous amphitheater just how much they appreciated being invited back in style.
