Thunder and Rain Offer Bluegrass & Shelter at Swallow Hill

January 11, 2019 Off By Billy Thieme
Thunder and Rain offer down-home bluegrass to a cold night at Swallow Hill next Saturday night, January 12.

If you’ve had enough of the snow for a bit, you might want to hazard one more trip out in it to get to the Tuft Theater at Swallow Hill Saturday night, January 12, to catch local Americana/Blue Grass sensation Thunder and Rain.

The four-piece Front Range acoustic/country band formed after front woman Erinn Peet-Lukes moved to Golden, Colorado in 2013. Peet-Lukes made a few lineup adjustments, and the group now features Ian Haegele on upright bass, Chris Herbst on dobro, and Dylan McCarthy mastering the mandolin. There blend of bluegrass instrumentation and deeply heartfelt country/pop songwriting will tug on your heartstrings, even while it excites your love for great down-home picking.
